Cari Brown earned a B.A. from Penn State and an MA from NYU. For the past 19 years, she has worked in school settings teaching music and performing arts to students in grades K-12.
I fully believe in the power of the arts. Along with helping develop self-expression and empathy, they assist in building confidence and community. As a teacher, I strive to harness the love of theater arts and help youth to find their voice through freedom of expression.

Students will participate in improv exercises, singing and theater games to enliven their creativity. Additionally, we will be working on a play with a performance at the end of the course.

Come join us as we learn about an incredibly important figure in 20th-century musical theater, Stephen Schwartz. Our performance will include scenes and songs from his iconic musicals. In this class students will also receive performing arts training that boosts their self-esteem and confidence and teaches the value of teamwork.

Back by popular demand! Join Ladybug Arts choreographer, Olivia Pettinelli, in this weekend intensive focused on musical theater dance styles and training set to the music of The Greatest Showman! This workshop is appropriate for beginners and dancers alike! Students will participate in a demo performance on Sunday. This is a great class for students interested in musical theater! Space is limited so sign up ASAP!

Olivia Pettinelli is a passionate choreographer with 12 years of dance experience, blending skill and creativity to craft compelling performances. Trained in numerous dance styles, including Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Modern, and Musical Theater, she brings a deep understanding of movement and storytelling to the stage. Olivia has led a dance workshop for Ladybug Arts, has experience teaching private dance lessons, and has created choreography for numerous productions and performers. She loves working with students of all ages, creating fun and engaging environments where learners can express themselves freely through movement. Known for her innovative approach and collaborative energy, Olivia specializes in blending traditional techniques with modern influences to captivate and inspire audiences everywhere.
